Elasto-Max® was founded in 1987 continues to be a family owned and operated business. Our roofing product is designed specifically for the harsh conditions of the Australian Climate and was first sold in Western Australia in 1990 so now has a substantial proven record in the building industry.
Elasto-Max® is 100% acrylic and replaces the cement pointing on tiled roofs on new and existing dwellings firmly securing ridge capping for years to come. This WA owned and manufactured product eliminates the ridge capping problem by ensuring the existence of flexibility in the visible pointing area on a roof. Once applied, Elasto-Max requires no maintenance.
As the original manufacturer with over 15 years market experience and a client base of over 600, we know Elasto-Max® outperforms cement grouts and other flexible roof tile pointing products in durability and appearance. Our roofing products has also received significant achievement regarding Australian Standards having obtained the highest rating of C4 as well as the new Australian Standard: AS4046.8 – 2006 by any flexible roof tile pointing product to the best of our knowledge.
Elasto-Max® is available in clear 10 litre plastic buckets allowing easy identification of the colour. Our colours do not fade and can be tinted to match every tile colour with over 18 colours on the standard chart. Once you purchase the product no mixing or tinting is required, the product you receive is immediately ready for use. No trowelling mix needs to be added as our product is an excellent adhesive, which does not crack under normal conditions.
Elasto-Max® is easy to apply for any tradesman and the formula can be adjusted to suit the summer and winter seasons. It will dry within a few hours in warm and sunny conditions and on hot summer days it stays moist just long enough for the tiler to achieve an excellent finish. It is also waterproof and eliminates ceiling dampness from water entering through loose ridge caps and is used by major businesses and tiling companies in Western Australia as well as Interstate.
